For this project we had to talk our personal beliefs about education. This project provides focus and emphasis for our teaching. This project was made for us to become aware of our goals and values which is suppose to help us integrate them in the classroom and the community. This project focuses on ourselves, were there is no right or wrong answer because they are OUR beliefs.

Personal Philosophy of Education 

          When it comes to my personal philosophy of education, I believe that education In a classroom is something all students individually well create memories on. Education is the start of students careers and knowledge. People begin education when they learn are infants learning how to say mama and dada. It’s a start of learning. Education is the start of informational about a subject and having knowledge about it. I think the purpose of education is to help you to accomplish your goals and help you become who you want to be and who you are today. The goals I would want my students to accomplish is to set their standards high. I want them to know that they can be whatever they want to be but they have to get the basics first which is education.  

          I believe a students role is to want to learn. If they don’t come to school wanting to learn and not focused they are not going to get the information. They also will have to come prepared. To be prepared students should come with a full nights rest and have eaten breakfast so they are wide  awake and energized. When students don’t get these things they tend to fall asleep in class or focus more on a growling stomach and are just ready to leave, also they wont have the nutrients to keep them up. A students role is to make sure that if they are not understanding something to ask for help so they can get the help that they need. Students should try to put their all into their work also. A student should also respect themselves and their peer especially in the classroom. 

          A teachers role is to put the students first. Students are a priority when it comes to their education and safety. Teachers have to set good example for the students and make sure they are practicing the classroom rules with the students. Teachers have to be able to be approachable. I student should not feel scared to talk to the teachers. The teachers job is to make sure that the students are comfortable in the classroom and that they can be trusted. Teachers role is to also treat everyone the same and not to discriminate against no student. They should all be treated equally. Teachers should also get to know their students so they can learn the way that they learn and which technics will wor better for them.  

            I believe a teachers role as a bridge in a community is very important. Public school teachers actually represent the community. They represent the education that is being taught to students that come from the community.  Teachers actually have the ability to change a students life around. These students look up to these students and spend most of their day with them. Teachers need to motivate their students which can actually go a long way. Students will start to feel good and start to believe in themselves. When this happens the student becomes motivated to want to do something that makes them happy and do things that will help their future.  

          I think there are many more roles that teachers and students but their main role is education. As a teacher I want to be the best for my students and I want them to want to learn. I want them to actually be excited about being in my classroom and comfortable. All I want is for my students to be successful. Me being young I have so much more to learn but I'm ready for the preparation to be a good teacher.
